Announces Promotions Huntsville, AL – June 20, 2011 – Beason & Nalley, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Asa Gilliland has been promoted to Managing Consultant in the Government Contract Compliance Group and Ms. Courtney Edmonson has been promoted to Senior Managing Consultant in the Government Contract Compliance Group. Mr. Asa Gilliland has experience with incurred cost submissions, providing audit support to government contractors, manufacturing, and health care and with city and state governments. In addition, Asa's experience includes assisting clients with budgeting, cost accounting, proposal building, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) best practices and compliance. Mr. Gilliland earned both his Master of Business Administration degree and his BSBA in Accounting degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama. Ms. Courtney Edmonson is experienced in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), evaluation and preparation of Cost Presentations, cost accounting systems reviews and policy and procedure preparation. Ms. Edmonson has specialized experience with revenue recognition issues, contract review, indirect rate calculation and analysis, incurred cost proposal preparation, CASB Disclosure Statements preparation and review, accounting system policy and procedure preparation and review, invoicing and overall financial presentation from a GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principle) and government regulatory aspect. Ms. Edmonson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Jacksonville State University and obtained her Master of Accountancy Degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama.
