News & Events August 22, 2006 - Financial Planning Certificate Program July 20, 2006The UAB School of Business will offer an instructor-led Financial Planning Certificate Program in Huntsville beginning on August 22, 2006. This program is a board approved program and meets the educational requirements to sit for the CFP examination. The Financial Planner Program consists of seven courses-Fundamentals of Financial Planning, Insurance Planning, Taxation, Investments, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Case Studies. Classes will meet on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and will be held at the offices of Beason & Nalley, at 101 Monroe Street. Beason & Nalley is located at the corner of Monroe Street and Green Street in downtown Huntsville. An information session to answer questions about the Financial Planner Program was held on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at the office of Beason & Nalley.
