WestWind Technologies, Inc. (WTI) is an aircraft systems integration provider that fills the niche of uniting new technology with proven platforms. WestWind has benefited from a sustained growth over the past 7 years from less than 100 employees in 2000 to over 375 today. WTI offers complete upgrade and sustainment solutions to customers. WTI’s core competencies include Engineering Design, Systems Integration, and Technology Insertion. WestWind is IS09001/AS9100 Registered and FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certified.
WestWind’s quality performance is exceptional, with a first-pass aircraft acceptance rate of 98 percent. The government, via CPSR (Contractor Purchasing System Review), has certified WTI’s purchasing process. Although the majority of current work is performed on rotary wing aircraft, WTI is expanding its capabilities to include medium to large fixed wing aircraft. WTI expansion plans include an addition of an 80,000 square foot hanger capable of housing 3 to 4 C-130 sized aircraft. This hangar is in addition to WestWind’s current 200,000 square foot campus in Huntsville, Alabama.
